When I had the original Nexus One I was privileged enough to have a proper car kit which was original and therefore worked perfectly with the phone. Now that I have my Galaxy Nexus I have to consider how I will find a car kit that will actually be relevant for me, I came across this video it totally answered my question. Sometimes the extra is definitely worth it.
